Message from Chief Instructor, Jack Ormerod

I’ve been diving professionally since 1997, reaching to Assistant Instructor with BSAC, then crossing over to PADI. I am currently an IDC Staff Instructor. The story goes further back though. I started scuba-diving in West Wales with my dad when I was 8 years old - just outside our house.

Our Story

In 2015, our family of 2 grown-ups, 2 kids and 1 dog left our home in Wales to discover the open sea.

Our sailing yacht Quest took us on an adventure across the Atlantic into the tropical Caribbean Sea.

We got to explore the bright blue sea both above and below the water. Scuba diving became our family’s passion. Now back at home in West Wales, we would like to share that passion with you.

Meet Jack

Ocean-going sailor, having captained our vessel S/V Quest over 15,000 nautical miles. This included a 6-year voyage from Wales to the Caribbean and back!

Our approach is very bespoke to our surroundings. By nature, we will be working on a 1:1 or maximum 2:1 basis, which gives the individual lots of quality time when they are learning.

From our experience scuba diving around the world, we have both extensive knowledge of beautiful dive sites around the world and many professional contacts we are excited to use which create unique dive experiences.
